How We Make Money
Kauai Things To Do earns referral fees when you book through our links. Here is exactly how that works and how it does not affect what we recommend.
Kauai Things To Do is free to read and always will be. We pay for it in two ways:
Referral fees. When you click a “Book now” button and complete a booking, the tour operator pays us a referral commission through their booking platform. The price you pay is the same as booking directly with the operator; the commission comes out of their side, not yours. Links that earn a commission are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code, as search engines ask. A few links go to operators who do not pay a referral fee; we list them anyway because they belong on the list.
Independence. We do not own any of the companies on this list, and no operator can buy a spot on it. We feature one company per activity, chosen on reviews, safety and the experience itself.
What this does not change. We do not accept payment for placement, and we do not list operators we would not send our own family out with. If a better operator comes along, the list changes.
